To meet the growing need for long-term rehabilitation services for children with chronic conditions, Children’s Specialists has strengthened its services by establishing the Division of Pediatric Rehabilitation to work collaboratively with the neurology and orthopedic divisions. Each division, working together, will ensure coordinated and comprehensive medical care.
The Rehabilitation Division is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Services provided by the division count on the expertise of on-site physical and occupational therapists, speech pathologists, social workers, case managers, school resource clinicians, dieticians and child life specialists.
