  • The following are physicians within this specialty:Children's Specialists Pediatric Ophthalmology Division treats infants, children, and adolescents for all vision-related disorders. The physicians are specially trained in pediatric ophthalmology and offer a range in both medical and surgical services.

    The office has a full-service optical department offering eye glasses and contact lenses for all ages. Routine eye exams can be scheduled for children who have learning problems or visual difficulties at school or in sports. The doctors also see adults on referral for strabismus or diplopia.

    The ophthalmologists specialize in the surgery of strabismus, pediatric cataract, pediatric glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, tear duct obstruction, ptosis, and other orbital and oculoplastic diseases. Surgeries are generally performed at Rady Children's Hospital with follow-up visits available at one of several offices conveniently located around the county.

    The ophthalmologists are committed to being available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for ophthalmic emergencies in children.
